We proudly present our new diploma students Alexandra and Emily who join us from the Higher Technical Institute for Chemical Industry (HBLVA Rosensteingasse) for their diploma theses. Alexandra and Emily will work on the hydrothermal synthesis of novel high-performance pigments with Hipassia, and also study the economical aspects of these syntheses with our spin-off UGP materials. Alonso, Tobia, and Miriam presented our research on high-performance composites using hydrothermally synthesized fully crystalline polyimides as reinforcements at the International Paris Air Show (SIAE – salon international de l’aéronautique et de l’espace) in Paris – Le Bourget, France, as part of the TU Wien booth.
