Grzegorz Dębowski

Grzegorz holds a BSc and MSc in biomedical engineering, carried out at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Both his BSc and his MSc thesis project were focused on the medical application of virtual reality, 3D visualization and motion capture technology. In 2016 he spent 3 months at the Department of Biomedical Science of Malmö University, doing his internship under the supervision of Prof. Tautgirdas Ruzgas. In 2017 he did his 3-month internship at the Delft University of Science and Technology, working on the use of statistical methods in medical image recognition. From September 2017 to 2018, he contributed to the project: “Virtual Reality in pre-operative planning and training of oncological treatment using MentorEye system” under the supervision of Dr. Magdalena Żuk.

Grzegorz joined our team as PhD student in September 2019 in the framework of the Center for Molecular Medicine (CeMM) PhD program. His project deals with the automation of hydrothermal synthesis of novel dyes for cell staining.
