Today, the doctoral school BIOINTERFACE was officially inaugurated. We celebrated both BIOINTERFACE and the doctoral school TU-D, which were both granted funding in the end of 2016, by a 1-day symposium at TU Wien. The program included, both presentations and pitch talks by the newly hired PhD students, invited lectures by Bharath Bhushan (Ohio State) and Steven Louie (Berkley), as well as presentations of the two doctoral schools by their coordinators.
