We attended the Polycondensation 2018 conference, held in Alexandria, VA, and hosted by the American Chemical Society (ACS). Alonso, Lukas, and Patrick presented their posters entitled “Fluorescent Polyimide Films from Aqueous Monomer Salt Solutions” (Alonso), “Green Synthesis and Characterization of Polyimides Derived from Extensively Fused Aromatic Monomers” (Lukas), and “Polyimide Networks by Hydrothermal Polymerization” (Patrick), and Miriam gave an invited keynote lecture on “Condensation polymers by hydrothermal polymerization“.
