Miriam at the 99th Glass-Technology Conference

Miriam gave the opening remarks in the 99th Glass-Technology Conference in Würzburg, which brought together experts from research and industry to discuss current developments and future challenges in glass technologies. Over two days, the conference covered topics ranging from glass structure and characterization to energy-efficient production, recycling strategies, and data-driven process control. Together with colleagues from Fraunhofer ISC, Miriam contributed to the exchange between materials science, process engineering, and industrial application. The conference provided a great opportunity for interdisciplinary discussions, new perspectives, and strengthening the connections between fundamental materials research and technological innovation. Many thanks to everyone involved in organizing the conference and to all participants for the exchange!
