We enjoyed a full day of presentations by all group members on their latest findings and future projects along with in-depth discussions. We are very happy to that Frank Sailer joined us as PhD candidate. Frank will focus his research in the synthesis of hybrid materials based on silicates. We wish Frank an amazing PhD research time and maximal successes for this new chapter in his career. [Read more]

Our latest publication entitled “Urethane functions can reduce metal salts under hydrothermal conditions: synthesis of noble metal nanoparticles on flexible sponges applied in semi-automated organic reduction” just appeared in the Journal of Materials Chemistry A. Our manuscript “Dual redox-active porous polyimides as high performance and versatile electrode material for next-generation batteries” was just published in Materials Horizons. We synthesized the presented advanced polyimide material in a sustainable fashion, i.e., in solely water.
