Miriam gave an invited talk at the HolzOberflächenTag 2023 (Wood surfaces day) organized by Holzforschung Austria (Austrian Forest Products Research Society), which took place in Vienna, Austria on September 19th, 2023. Her talk focused on sustainable coating approaches and was entitled “Green organic chemistry – Opportunities and Challenges” (Grüne organische Chemie – Potentiale und Herausforderungen). [Read more]
Miriam has been bestowed with the Roy-Somiya Award by the International Solvothermal and Hydrothermal Association (ISHA) ”in recognition for her commendable effort, achievements and scientific contributions in the solvothermal and hydrothermal research fields”.
Our group participated in the International Solvothermal and Hydrothermal Association Conference (ISHA 2023), which took place in Valladolid, Spain. We presented our latest results in the field of hydrothermal synthesis with 9 contributed talks (by Alonso, Celine, Fabián, Florian, Frank, Lukas, Olivier, Robert, and Tobias, respectively), one poster (by Lisa) and Miriam’s plenary lecture. Fabián gave a talk entitled “Fluorescent probes for intracellular pH based on heteroaromatic containing compounds” at the retreat of the graduate school Konstanz Research School Chemical Biology (Kors-CB). He was awarded with the Best Talk Award by the jury of invited speakers. Congratulations Fabián! [Read more]
