We are happy to share that our latest manuscript, entitled “Hydrothermal synthesis, characterization, and bioimaging applications of star-shaped fluorophores containing lophines,” has been accepted for publication in Chemical Communications. The study demonstrates the hydrothermal synthesis of star-shaped organic molecules exhibiting high thermal stability and blue-to-green fluorescence, as well as their suitability for imaging giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs). Interestingly, hydrothermal synthesis also enabled access to distinct crystal structures that were lost upon purification using organic solvents. Congratulations to Fabián and everyone involved in this exciting collaborative work!
