Brendan holds a BSc in Chemistry from State University of New York (SUNY), College at Oneonta, in upstate New York in the United States of America. He worked as a research assistant under Dr. Jacqueline Bennett in the Organic Chemistry department for over a year, where he experimented with forming aziridines under green conditions and later took part in the synthesis of various crystalline aromatic imine compounds under environmentally friendly conditions. Brendan joined us in April 2022 for his MSc thesis on the project “Green hydrothermal synthesis of spirobifluorene-based organic materials”.
